sick people always blame others

Why the hell are people complaining about chelsea buying shevchenko and signing ballack too? chelsea are the ultimate proof of what top flight football has become: money and lots of it. and don’t worry about wondering whether anyone can hope to compete with them because no-one can.

no-one kicked off this much when man united spent 29 million on ferdinand and 28 million on veron and that was four or five years ago - people seem to have got caught up in a ‘chelsea are buying the title’ rut and will just trot that out every time they spend 20 million or more on one player.

of course they’re buying it, AS DID man united and most everyone else before them.

football’s always been about having the most money and buying the title (particularly since the premiership was formed), chelsea are no different.

…I can’t believe how short peoples memories are. True the entire chelsea squad is unrecognisable from what it was even three years ago, but play any football or football management game that is a few years old and you’ll be surprised how many players aren’t where they used to be.

The amount of money spent since roman came along is a little obscene, but apart from the last three or four buys, SWP for example, most have been well thought-out and a damn site better than those that were made in the 90s.

people seem to forget that teams like manYoo spent 29mill on RIO FERDINAND!

and they whinge when we try to get shevchenko for 35mill?

sport is big money. has been for years in the states in the NBA, NHL, and NBA. hasn’t made them boring (well, for those that like that kind of thing), the sums just got bigger and everyone had to chase the leaders for a while.

but isn’t it a good time to be a chelsea fan…i’m blues since 97 anyway..

Have Chelsea signed Ballack or Schevchenko yet? No. Granted we may do, but until then…

crap!! if you’re making this fuss over a poxy article in the soccernet, which gets ridiculed for its inaccuracies, along with the rest of the footballing press (when it suits you), what the hell is it going to be like during the world cup, when we’re going to linked with every player who manages to score more than two goals?

regarding chelsea’s style of play versus that of arsenal, barca (lotsa poser fans..where are you when barca celebrated 100 years of existance??they were 5th in the league if u dont know) etc. i agree that it should be more entertaining, but let’s face facts here. jose’s first job was to get a hugely expensive bunch of players to win something. second job, to win something again. assuming we win the league this year and or the FA Cup he will have achieved those goals, which despite the resources at his disposal is still a fine achievement.

however, I would like him to be able to pull a real rabbit out of the hat for his third trick and get us to win things whilst playing something akin to ‘total football’. given his preferred style of play (at porto as well as chelsea), it seems a little unlikely, but until then it is going to be pretty hard for peter kenyon to fulfil his dreams of world domination, as I agree that most people want to able to cheer on a team playing the game the ‘right way’.

two questions to close;
1. does kenyon watch re-runs of james bond/austin powers to feed his megalomania?
2. does anyone else chuckle at the irony of liverpool fans calling chelsea ‘Chavs’?

manchester united (not all, i have miji and azri and anis, this bunch of three gyus u can talk and discuss with them, unlike others) fans almost all are ignorant..i dont blame them, manchester united is their life and well..they dont blame themselves for defeats..blame chelksi

paragon or pariah? (borrowed)

"I know I have opened up a can of worms but it should have been opened a long time ago"

well ladies and gentlemen for the first time in more than a year i will write something that has nothing to do with football. maybe a bit but still no serious football thought this time.

there’re some bastards in the whole world. what i’m going to tell you who is she/he, did some annoying superasshole in the sake of belittling me. i have engaged in this love relationship with my current girlfriend and now it seems there are people who feels i’m not up to the mark for the woman. i’m 20 so what? jealous at me for being younger than you? or jealous because i’m straight not like you pathetic lesbian who will NEVER conceive a child without male’s dick screwing your cunt, or maybe you are jealous with me because i have a dick, while u arent. sick people..

while rivalries exist within the society or between two people longing for someone’s love, and maybe not everyone exchanges christmas cards, by and large the society is a swell thing to be part of, full of genial bonhomie and banter.

like all societies there are rules and taboos. new members are welcome, but until you are part of them and fittings don’t, whatever you do, rock the boat; cause a stir and you could be black balled before you know it, like this lesbian is surely about to find out. we, south-east asian society who values tradition and religion will never accept such sick homosexual. u made a mistake. if u r nice to me or everybody else we can ignore the fact that u r abnormal, but things are complicated, u made it complicated. u asking urself to be punish..

since then little has been heard of bungs and backhanders. but as far as the lesbian is concerned that does not mean that the practise has stopped, in fact he is adamant that if he were open to inducements he could quite easily feather his/her bed.

the lesbian will never had a family, perhaps if he/she had he/she would have been advised to keep his mouth shut.arghhh..which one to use? he or she, better he because all he wanted to be is HE..poor him.

hopefully his decision to speak out will prove to be a good thing for himself  but turbulent times lie ahead for you.

Man Utd a “superclub”?

January 5th, 2006 by ssangyongs

As a Chelsea fan, I would be the first to admit that Barcelona and Madrid certainly hold some allure. Not so sure about the Italian league, but Manchester?

Cold miserable city (I mean just look at native Neville’s face!) and a debt-laden club on the decline.

And tell me, Gary. Who are these overseas superstars queueing up to play alongside yourself, Fortune and John O’Shea? Van the increasingly slow Man was the last real continental talent to arrive at OT and how long ago was that now?

Still maybe the "superclub" could attract some young talent desperate for Champions league glory. Oh Hang on - maybe not.

More seriously though. It irritates the hell out of me that the Arsenal, Man Utds and Liverpools of this world seem to believe that they belong to some sort of aristocracy within the game. Thankfully it’s that complacency that plays right into Chelsea’s hands, although sadly for Chelsea, Wenger (sometimes) Fergie and Rafael are a lot more intelligent than some of their players.

Most laughable was Neville’s comparison with Blackburn and Porto. Fine clubs as they are, the top london club are on a somewhat different footing wouldn’t you say?

Berk.

Perhaps We Shouldn’t Listen To Jose

December 23rd, 2005 by ssangyongs

I can’t believe your having a poll about Mourinho’s right to have his say.

Free speech is one of the fundamentals of our society for chrissakes and should be defended! Mourinho or anybody else for that matter are entitled to their views regardless of how obnoxious those views may be. There is a simple solution, if you don’t like what a person says then don’t listen!

As a Chelsea fan, I do wish sometimes that Jose shuts the f**k up. He should never have made those accusations about Frisk and Wenger. But I do believe he makes these comments to serve a purpose and normally it’s to deflect attention away from the team. However I feel he could achieve this by not slagging off all and sundry.

Anyway rant over. I like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, I mean everybody including all you Chelsea haters.

You Know You’re Not Rivals When they Pity You…

December 10th, 2005 by ssangyongs

As a Chelsea fan, I genuinely felt for united and their fans last night. I wanted all 4 clubs into the knock out stages. What better advert for the Premier league than to have an all four playing in the semi’s with an ‘English’ final (OK so it’s wishful thinking!)

Also it would have kept our co-efficient high and the right to a fourth CL place. So before gloating and laughing at the club’s demise think about all our clubs profile in Europe.

And to the United fans, you’ll be back - everything goes in cycles.

No, He’s Right To Get Involved

November 17th, 2005 by ssangyongs

Though it might seem a little heavy-handed to be ordering an inquisition as to Chelsea’s "slump", bear in mind that they did lose a Premiership match to a man utd team supposedly in crisis themselves, lost an important champion’s league match, went out of the league cup at a relatively early stage and drew with a piss-poor Everton side (sorry everton but you know it’s true) in the space of a couple of weeks. It should also be a slight concern that they have made life difficult for themselves by being behind at the interval in most of their recent games. OK, they went on to batter blackburn and bolton but didn’t look overly confident in the first half. I would have thought that swift action from mourinho and/or abramovich would be a good way of making sure that the players do not lose focus and don’t get too complacent about their "untouchable" status. Surely better that than just saying "don’t worry lads, we can afford to lose a few matches, it’ll make for a more entertaining end-of-season for the fans".

shhhhh..domination begins

May 4th, 2005 by ssangyongs

It was most definitely, the most draining 90 minutes I had ever sat
through. All the stress and the frustration, it was terrible. The
moment Garcia’s "goal" went in, I knew what to expect, and that is
exactly what we got. Ok so we don’t know whether it was a goal or not,
but whats the difference? If the ref didn’t give a goal, it would have
led to a red for Cech and a penalty for the Pool. SO either way, we
were done for.

We all knew that if Liverpool got the first goal, it was a mountainous
task to get a goal back. I have to say, Jamie Carragher won Liverpool
the game, what a performance, he played as if his entire career
depended on this, so did most of the team. As for our boys, well they
couldn’t have done anything more, nothing more, nor could Jose. We
tryed everything, it just didn’t work. The last shot from Guddy, that
was the most agonising miss I’ve had sit through. If Drogba blew, the
ball would have gone in, it was that close.

Well I guess it just wasn’t our day, we weren’t meant to go through
this year, I guess a double is rewarding enough. Maybe we’ve had too
much luck against Liverpool over the past season, you know, the
disallowed penalty, the own goal, so I guess this maybe, just maybe
evens it out, just a wee wee wee wee bit. I was very upset at first,
almost reduced to tears when Guddy missed, but then I figured, hang on
a minute, the blue wave has just begun, we’ll be back next year.
Thankfully Dave Beasant echoed my thoughts.

I am covinced the blue wave is here to stay. We will be back next
year. I tell you, if Duffer or Robben were a 100% and started the
game, it would have been a very very different game. Liverpool would
not have been able to play the way they did. Anywho, hope Milan will
knock the stuffing out of them in the final, providing they get there.
Hey if the play like this, Milan will have an easy one.

On another sad note, I’m actually having seconds thought about Drogba.
Yes he may be big, strong, agile, but he just lack a bit of finesse,
that quality, don’t you think? Like Kev said, he just seems like an
insticntive striker, not your resident Raul or Shearer. I think its
good that Adriano has been linked with us.

LET THE WAVE CONTINUE

where do we go

May 4th, 2005 by ssangyongs

We are out of the Champions League.

We have won the League Cup.

We have won the English Premier League.

Some EPL records to break then it’s the summer.
Until then, there is really not much to look forward to.
But you can bet I’ll still be wearing Blue everyday.

take a look at this..

May 1st, 2005 by ssangyongs

Holy hell. After such a long wait for the title, THE moment is finally
upon us. Feels kinda UNREAL doesn’t it?? The euphoria hasn’t quite sunk
in yet. When the final whistle went, i’m sure i wasn’t the only one who
had to pinch myself to see if i was dreaming. For most of us, this is
the first time we’ve ever tasted Premiership glory and you know the
cliche - the FIRST time is always the SWEETEST. Woo-Hooooo!!! YEAH!!

Congratulations to our great team and to all Blues diehards everywhere.
We deserve success and now it’s time to savour every bit of it.

For Lamps to grab a brace in such a historic game is simply phenomenal.
Decent goals too. Shebby called him the ‘perfect footballer.’ It just
doesn’t get better than that does it? ;p  Rest assured Frank, you’re
already a living legend among all Chelsea fans..

"Cos Chelsea… Chelsea is our name"
